Introducing Spot.IM’s Native Mobile SDK for Publishers

It’s a big day here at Spot.IM!

As more audiences consume content on smartphones and tablets, mobile apps become an integral part of a publisher’s digital strategy. With all the content and social media choices users have on mobile devices, keeping users engaged within those apps is an uphill battle for publishers.

With that in mind, we’re thrilled to announce the official launch of our new, native mobile software development kit (SDK) to help publishers of all sizes drive mobile app engagement and monetization within mobile apps. By making Spot.IM’s community solutions available to the public in the form of a native SDK, iOS and Android mobile app developers now have the ability to monetize user-generated content (UGC) via a revenue share.

What makes this announcement so exciting is the fact that Spot.IM is the first company to offer publishers a social engagement solution for mobile apps with a monetization feature that is seamlessly integrated with the page.

Nadav Shoval, our co-founder and CEO says: “Audiences today only visit publisher sites for a few seconds before escaping to Facebook to discuss the content, and this is a huge challenge for publishers. We’re committed to solving this problem by building communities to keep users engaged on publisher sites. Our native SDK now extends the community functionality to mobile apps and we’re thrilled to release it for all publishers to enjoy and users to experience.”
